World's Largest Flower
Product Description
Amorphophallus titanum is the largest flowering plant in the world. Watch our plant bloom online at this website Corpse flower at Quail Botanical GardensThe common name is "Titan" because it grows so big. Another name is "Mr. Stinky" because when it blooms it emits an odor which exactly mimics those of rotting flesh. This putrid order attracts carrion beetles that pollinate the flower.
After seven years, our plant grew its first flower. The flower may grow up to 4 feet wide and 7 feet tall. And it usually grows up to half a foot per day. Ours opened 55 inches tall, and over 40 inches wide.
We are now able to offer you two relatives of Titan, these are Devil's Tongue and the Snake Palm. Click here to buy a Devil's Tongue plant with a large maroon flower, or Click here to buy a Snake Palm with a pink flower.
